M200 Community Toolbar!

Alright guys RED here bringing you another exciting news!

First of all our first community montage is being made as we speak.
We had our FFAs and team battles tonight and expect some epic sniper kills.
If you missed out on the chance, don't worry.
We might sneak in couple more takes in the next few days.

Expect the montage to be up soon. With its launch we will fully promote our forum
into its greatness (:

Before hitting the masses, I think it's important for us to take it to the next level.
I think our community and the forum definitely has the potential to go big.

As much as I hate to ask for you guys' help on this I thought
creating this toolbar is much easier and more beneficial than asking for donations.

Personally, I don't want a toolbar on my browser but the toolbar that I made
is full of features that MAY (you don't have to use it) benefit you.
But most importantly this toolbar is to help the forum and make it better.
Every download I get on this toolbar, it will determine how much revenue
we can collect and spending on our forum.

The future plan for M200 is:
1) Buy a domain name (no more confusing forumotion.com)
2) Use a better forum (VBulletin) <- Unfortunately this is pretty expensive so
I don't expect to upgrade soon.

Now for the features in the toolbar:
1) Main Link to M200 forum (so you don't have to type it every time)
2) Google search bar
3) M200 Announcements (I can alert you guys with new announcments without you guys having to constantly checking the forum)
4) M200 Chatbox (That's Right! Now you can chat with your favorite members on the forum without going to the forum. This means you can browse the web and have your chatbox on at all times)
5) Links to Kable's Youtube Channel, Livestream, Twitter (So you can be the first one to see Kable's status/videos)
6) Some general gaming sites that you might be interested in. Let me know if you want these changed.
7) You can add your own custom apps to satisfy your needs.

So give it a try and if you don't like it, you can always uninstall it (:

Downloaded the toolbar, I don't know about others in the forum but I can see this going very smoothly and we're gaining members quickly so if we offered VIP membership for a fee this may get the forum earning money faster for that domain name and the vbulletin board. I currently pay for VIP on other mw2 forums and would happily change my payment to here if it meant I got extra special things and treatment as well, after all money talks.

Secondly im currently uploading the clips I recorded last night to megaupload, we're talking a day to upload here but once they're up they can be downloaded, seen and the all important edited

i also like the idea of vip membership, but i cant really think of anything to offer them (except for exclusive vip matches and whatnot)

A VIP section is a good idea, but there are also some other things they could do to make money.

VIP section would be awesome as well as a donation option. :3

Maybe offer a few games with the M40A3 clan (if kaables agrees), coloured username, a different background to the site? Maybe put a link to their youtube channel in a sticky or something, also take smilies away from us and only let the VIPs use them. I dont know butthats a few ideas i just thought of. I wont buy the VIP thing tho cus my mums credit card got copyed and someone spent £3,000 in a day before the bank blocked it so i dont trust internet buying anymore lol. but im downloading the toolbar now

The things we could offer as VIP on the forum can be
- Exclusive boards of some sort of content which is super cool
- Name is a different colour
- Inside knowledge into where m200 is heading in the future to an extent
- A bigger voice over the average user making their decisions and ideas above others.
- Discounts on Video/Image graphics or anything else.
Things we could offer on MW2 can be
- Exclusive games with Kables or any other hot shots
- Free recordings in HD or SD (I'd be happy to do this for people investing in the forum)

It all depends where you really want to take this.
If you think of m200 as the business and the VIP as the investor you can see what I'm getting at.

Or you could maybe offer exclusive open lobbys with kables and you and other VIP memebers and record the round winning killcams-alot of people would become a VIP member for that.
Like I said I wont be a VIP member but that would make me want to be one.
Also Maybe make a forum/chatbox that only VIPs can look at and post in?
Maybe take away our profile pictures and make it only VIPs can have a signature and picture?

Make a 1v1 ladder but make it exclusive to VIP members? or make it that the VIP gets host in all 1v1s on the ladder on something and gets to decide the maps and rules or something?

Sorry for keeping posting but I've come up with a new idea:
The ability to mute others in the chat box or block their messages?

I could do like a lesson w/ a bonus member. like they buy the VIP thing and I owe them like a half hour or hour lesson or something.

Open lobbies w/ m40 guys is a def.

Or, a good idea i just had is VIP members could be the ones who have a spectator on all or some or whichever of their matches that they want who has an HD pvr and records their pov for them.

we could make the VIP members wait less time on any game disputes or issues they had w a match and stuff.

those are pretty good ideas i think.

All these are good enough ideas for the VIP thing to start I reckon. I think it now depends on which ones you want to put into action and how much you want to be charging per month or year for it.

Yeah I love all the ideas you guys. I am going to have to organize it and talk about them with Kables.
