Hitmarkers!

I was playing public FFA with my intervention FMJ
Oh boy I got so many hit markers.

Definitely helps me improve on accuracy though (going for head/chest rather than arm)

I would suggest play on Half Health when playing private matches
instead of miniscule because you don't want to reward kills to people who shoot in the
enemy's foot. Haha.

Yeah i found that, they have kinda reduced the damage of FMJ on the intervention or something, i just used extended mags when that happened to me.

FMJ doesn't increase raw bullet damage, it only increases the power of the bullet when shot through the wall.

I know how you feel, in so many SnD kill cams you will see me shoot and get the blood on their screen but they still spray me with the UMP or something

It may just be me but I seem to not get as many hitmarkers as I used to. My shot has gotten a lot better, but still. Maybe they fixed it?

Pfft they wont fix it apparently its only a small amount of the community that complain about the sniper getting hitmarkers -_-

No, because i went back to fmj a couple of games later and still had the hitmarker problem

Nope, sorry but FMJ does not decrease damage.

it did for me, and most of my friends found that too :/

I think maybe what you are seeing there is that with FMJ on, you are hitting through something hence hitmarkers but without it, it would just count as a miss since the bullet won't go through whatever is blocking it. So it's an illusion that you are getting less hit markers? Ugh I really hope they fix this.

But the hitmarkers i was getting where in the chest from point blank range

but they have fixed it, and fmj has just gone back to normal for me so its all good.

I seem to get a lot more hitmarkers when using the barret, I dont get very many when using the Intervention.

I guess im just lucky

I am consistent at getting them....it sucks for me...

this is what i have to say to hitmarkers.



although i guess they help you aim for specific spots on an enemy

hitmarkers are the worst, yeh i could understand it if i shot them in the foot or hand i'd get a hitmarker but not when i shoot them through their back, they either need to add more power to the barret and the intervention or adapt how much damage certain parts of the body take.

honestly, this might just be my pessimism but after the map pack and its patch, i think they reduced the intervention damage, i was getting at least 7 hit markers a match that day, i even barrel shoved a guys balls, no scoped and got a hitmarker,

I hate hitmarkers so much! I want to start using the barrett because it seems more powerful, but whenever I use it I miss a lot (and it doesn't feel as natural as quick scoping with the intervention) However, Infinity Ward has some other problems to deal with before even thinking about this.
