Competitive or Pub Star?

What do you guys have more fun with: public matches or competitive matches? I haven't done competitive yet, so for me its pubs.

To be honest, it depends how good your team are, if you enter a competetive match with a bad team, it won't be fun and you will more than likely get smashed. But if you have a good team, with good organisation it's fun. Even if you don't win every match, atleast you gave them a good match, Hope this helped.

I like pubs bc they are fun to go for clips and get good gameplays to commentate on but I like competitive because they are more difficult and take more teamwork.
I'm trying to find 3 people who are good at MLGvariant to play with me while I snipe because I want to start a new commentary series of games where I snipe in competitive matches like MLG scrims or GB but I can't find people who are good enough and will play while I snipe. Nobody takes me seriously when I say I can, and do, do very well in competitive gametypes while sniping without camping and playing defense.

I Have a friend that might play with you, he's won loads of tournaments & loads of cash with his team, his names vA Voltex, ill introduce you if you want. P.S He's a monster.

I find both have their advantages, Public games are FILLED with campers, but its a bit more easy going, whereas competitive is serious, but with no campers, etc.

unless you play domination almost every1 milks their kills and camps in competitive

I might start playing 4v4 competitive soon, I love team tactical as of Tuesday and competitive matches will be even better.

I love to play in pubs because I get to mess around, use other weapons, make new friends, etc. Competitive is nice, but very tense usually even when laughing with your friends/teammates. :3

Both are really fun, but a different kind of fun, usually it pubs its mess around kind of fun then when I play competitive its a different kind of fun, I dont know how to explain it :/.

Anyway that was about Counter Strike: Source, because ive only played about 4 GB matches total, so I dont really know competitive MW2.

how can you not take anyone that's good enough to get into m40a3 seriously?

yeah campers are annoying, but competitive must be frustrating and tense

I've never played competitive other then 1v1's on xbox
on PC pubs are gay as balls, scrims are <3

Pub matches but, I hate the noob tubes and commando

pubs and trying to get cool kill cams and prevailing.
