Xbox or PS3?

I have an Xbox, and it is really good. I have never used a PS3 before, so I don't know which is better. All I know is that the Xbox controller is better than the PS2 controller, because i have played PS2 before. For people that have both, what do you think is better? Even if you don't have both, do you like or dislike your console?

I have Xbox. It's alright, but for whatever reason I think the PS3 might be better. I've played and done well on both, but idk. I'm thinking PS3.

I don't know anyone that has one, all of my friends have xbox, so I dont know

Ok PS3 is better, but the online community is bad IMO. PS3 Is a better console, but its competetive community is tiny, and also the private matches are mucked up. So i'd prefer the 360.

360 is just known for having a better competitive set-up so people who want to be competitive go there. Otherwise PS3 would have probably been really well in the competitive scene and have more major tournaments. However, I prefer the PS3 exclusives a lot more. They just attract me more.

If you have a PS3, have at least 1 friend with a 360 and vice-verse.

Never even played a PS3, was a huge fan of sony and playstation, but all of my friends own a xbox so I decided to get it. Plus I xbox has Halo . Oh and xbox controllers are a lot more comfortable.

But yeah if I ever have an extra 300 laying around i will probably get one.

The xbox online is better
But i've always had a playstation, never had an xbox so i am just so used to the controller and the set up that i don't want to change for an xbox

Xbox is better in my opinion. The PS3 controllers are trash. I hate the joysticks and the triggers are just beyond infuriating. The online is way better for Xbox as well.

I dont like the play station controller either

It all varies on the person, really. As far as multiplayer goes anyway.

Playstation 3 is a more mature community, as Xbox 360 is the opposite. I can actually tolerate being in a lobby on Playstation 3.

I personally think the exact opposite, Every single time i play on my ps3, I get into a lobby with a bunch of 5 year old's that got there xbox because there parents got it for them, There's never a mature person in a PS3 lobby i join, So I'm going to have to side with XboX 360. Although im prestiged on both.

how come you guys dont like the ps3 controllers/joysticks?
When I was getting ready to submit my design for my customs xbox controller I saw a few different sites offering ps3 joysticks on the 360 controllers and assumed that was because they were better, I personally hate the 360 sticks because of the way they are concaved like a bowl or saucer on top, I think it just makes it more difficult to keep myself steady and be as precise as possible.
Also, isn't quickscoping on a ps3 faster because its not a full trigger pull, its just a bumper push? idk but thats what I heard

personally i like xbox more and i dont like the bumper push because sometime's you have to press it actually pretty hard.

there are a lot more skilled players on xbox than on ps3

i think ps3 is better but im bias so my opinion doesn't count...


i tried to play on my friends xbox and i couldnt quickscope at all


ohh and ps3 is free online

Xbox online is also smoother and youre more likely to find matches quicker

Okay, I really don't care about it. I have played on both consoles and I sucked on Xbox, only because I played too much Ps3 but once I got used to it, I played decent. It really just depends on what you got. ^.^

*Note:
If you want an all in one package, use PS3, if you want a large focus on gaming, you can bet on Xbox, although (Nice musix box, sorry I just saw it while typing ) if it really doesn't matter.
